Centre Manager — Tess Wise

Tess brings an energetic vision and enthusiasm to the strategic direction of the Equestrian Centre. Tess has both a professional and natural talent at engaging children’s natural curiosity and teaching in riding schools.
Yard Manager — Nicole Redfern
BSc in Animal Management, BHS Stage 3 Care & Lunge, BHS Stage 2 Riding
Nicole has extensive experience working in large livery yards and has a keen understanding of horse welfare and how to balance the well-being of the horses with the needs of a very busy Equestrian Centre.
Administrator — Rachel Orme-Smith
BA in English and Politics
With a background in Publishing with HarperCollins and Event Management for the National Trust, Rachel brings key organisational and planning skills to the team. Having lived in the USA for six years, Rachel has enjoyed both Western and English style riding.
Assistant Yard Manager — Charlotte Paice
BSc in Animal Management, BHS Stage 2 Care, Lunge and Riding
Charlotte brings her sunny disposition to all her activities on the Yard. As adept at making sure the Yard runs smoothly as inspiring the children with her love for, and knowledge of, the horses and their care.
Senior Groom — Mandy Elcome
BHS Stage 2 Care, Lunge and Riding
Mandy approaches every task with humour and a sense of fun. As well as sharing her own horses with her daughter, Mandy is one of STE’s longest-standing team members. Her love for the horses and their welfare is at the core of all her work at STE.
Groom — Chloe Fuller
BHS Stage 2 Care & Lunge
Chloe has extensive experience of working with horses and she brings this knowledge and her natural enthusiasm to her work both on and off the yard. Chloe is always a calm and positive presence for the horses and riders.
Groom — Maddi Adams
BHS Stage 2 Ride and Silver Challenge Award
Maddi’s natural affinity with horses and her invaluable experience in working with them, helps keep the Yard running smoothly and at pace. Often a blur in the mornings or evenings, Maddi is a powerhouse of activity.
Freelance Instructor — Georgie Wood

A talented event rider, Georgie is an experienced Pony Club Instructor and coach. She brings her energy, enthusiasm and talent to teaching our riders and especially our budding event riders and jumpers.

Euan often teaches at the local Pony and Riding Clubs, teaching riders of all ages and abilities. He brings his knowledge and enthusiasm to our budding riders.

Judy brings with her many years of experience in all situations of teaching, including RDA. And she helps our riders in understanding the benefits of refining the basics in order to bring out the best of both horse and rider.

Lucy joins us at STE bringing with her knowledge and enjoyment of teaching, including her experience from teaching private clients and from the local Pony Clubs.

Katie has enjoyed a competitive Pony Club career, including eventing and schooling a wide variety of ponies, followed by college, her BHS exams and a wide experience of teaching.
Katie is finishing her studies to become an English and History teacher.
