Facilities

Significant long-term investment has endowed Cranmore and St Teresa’s with a broad range of high-quality sports facilities, with tennis one of the main beneficiaries.

ESTA headquarters is based at St Teresa’s in its own separate building, a former locker room which has undergone a complete transformation to become a spacious, bright, modern clubhouse with changing rooms, equipped as necessary to function effectively as a proper training facility.

Three hard courts sit adjacent to ESTA ‘HQ’ in a truly delightful position on the edge of the school campus, bordered on two sides by a picturesque backdrop of attractive and colourful trees. The proximity to HQ provides excellent and efficient transition between practical and theoretical tuition, and facilitates discrete monitoring.
Directly opposite the school’s main Reception, a large, all-weather surface provides additional space for team practice and fitness activities.

At Cranmore there are four brand new artificial courts which are used for tennis sessions during the summer term. The opportunity to play on both artificial and hard courts provides our pupils with valuable experience in understanding how they, and the ball, perform on different surfaces.
